1. Support copy 48 transponder, without binding condor(Menu->Key Learn->4th Immobilizer system – Copy 48 Transponder)
About copy 48 function on VVDI2:
(1). Authorize copy 48 function require 1000 remote points, require buy an extra emulator
(2). You can exchange it with “Transponder Programmer -> Menu -> Points System”
(3). Every success calculate will cost 100 remote points
(4). Copy 48 fucntion use in 4th immobilizer system(Dashboard), support type: NEC24C32, NEC24C64, NEC24C64 colordisplay, A1, A3/TT/R8, Q3, New tiguan 5ND920873B, 5ND920883B etc
(5). Copy 48 fucntion can work on the car that which support read PIN and CS via OBDII. Ofcourse, known CS and PIN is supported. Use KTAG to read ECU ME9.7

This blog below will show you the steps how I use KTAG to read ECU ME9.7. Hope it helps users.

My car: Mercedes W221 S350

Device i used: KTAG ECU PROGRAMMER

i bought it from obd2express.co.uk at a nice price €75, i know that its retail price is €130

 

Note: Try this Tutorial AT YOUT OWN RISK!

Step1.

Before start reading ECU, i make a backup copy firstly.

First heat the ECU unit edge and open ECU carefully.

Step2.

Open KTAG software.

Then I Choose “Mercedes” “S (W221)” and “S350 3500 V6…BOSCH ME9.7”.

Connect then cable 14P600KT02 to the connector of ECU.

Refer to below pin out diagram:

Red color: Pin 15, 16: +12V

Black: Pin 2: GND

Step3. Apply solder paste on the red area in ECU as following picture:

Solder cable to ECU:

Step4. Go Back to KATG software and choose plug-in “P102”.

I clicked “Read” and wait for a while.

Then Save the bin file.

Finally, i successfully used K-TAG chip tuning tool to read Mercedes W221 ME9.7 ECU !

How to build a Power Supply for BMW ICOM

Best way “I” would build a power supply for icom bmw, buy OBDII Extention, Go to your local salvage place and buy BMW OBDII+20 Pin plug+wires(cut)
Then buy power plugs (male and female) from your local electric store and DIY your final product to this forum how much it cost you at the end
